When To Use This

Use this when a staff member has been invited to a Hello Sniff business and needs to create their staff login for the first time.

Before You Start

  • Open the invitation link sent by the business owner or admin.
  • Do not forward the invitation link to someone else.
  • Choose a password that meets the form requirements.

Staff Activation Form

The activation page confirms the invite and asks the staff member to finish setting up their account.

Enter the display name staff should see in the business app, choose a password, and submit the activation form. After activation, future sessions use the regular Sign In to Hello Sniff page.

After Activation

  • Successful activation signs the staff member in and opens the business app.
  • The activated account uses the access level chosen by the owner or admin who sent the invite.
  • If activation fails, the activation page stays open and shows the visible problem so the staff member can try again.

When Activation Does Not Work

  • If the invitation details are missing, reopen the original invite link from the email or message.
  • If the invite still does not work, ask an owner or admin to resend it from the Access page. See Manage Access and Invites.
  • If the staff member is already signed in, Hello Sniff may send them directly into the business app instead of showing activation again.
  • Do not promise how long an invite link remains valid unless that timing has been confirmed for the business.
