When To Use This
Use this when a staff member needs to regain access to the Hello Sniff business app.
Before You Start
- Use the password reset page for the correct business staff app.
- Do not share reset links outside the reset flow.
- Ask an owner or admin for help if the email never arrives or the account needs an owner-sent reset.
Password Reset Request
On the password reset page, enter the staff email and request a reset link. Open the link from the email, enter a new password, and submit the form.
If self-service reset does not work, ask an owner or admin to send a reset from the Access page. The owner or admin can review staff access in Manage Access and Invites.
After Password Reset
- A successful reset request shows that the request was sent or received.
- A successful reset confirmation signs the staff member in and opens the business app.
- An owner-sent reset shows a confirmation on the Access page when the reset is sent.
When Reset Does Not Work
- If the reset email is not visible, check the address and ask an owner/admin to confirm the staff account exists.
- If the reset link fails, request a new reset link instead of reusing the old URL.
- If the reset action is missing on the Access page, ask an owner or admin to review who can reset staff access.
- Do not state reset link lifetime, email delivery timing, or delivery guarantees unless they have been confirmed for your business.
