When To Use This
Use this article when you need to add, update, review, or archive a dog profile in the customer portal.
Before You Start
- Sign in to the customer portal.
- Have current dog details ready, such as name, birthday, breed, notes, and care information.
- Use the Documents page for dog photos, vaccination records, waivers, agreements, and other required files.
Dogs Page Overview
The Dogs page shows the active dog profiles connected to your household. Use it to review profile details, care notes, behavior information, and visible readiness messages.
Readiness cards may point to profile information, documents, or onboarding items that need attention. These cards are guidance from the portal, not a guarantee that a dog is approved for every service.
Dog Roster
Choose a dog from the roster when you need to review or edit that profile. Use Add Dog when a dog needs to be added to the household.
If a dog is missing, confirm whether the profile was archived or still needs to be added.
Profile And Care Details
Enter the requested profile, care, behavior, and notes information. Save the dog profile after the required fields are complete, then check the page for a success or error notice.
Use current, accurate information. If you are unsure how much medical or behavior detail to include, follow your business's instructions.
Records And Readiness
Review the records and readiness cards for dog photos, vaccination records, waivers, agreements, and booking guidance. Use the Documents page when a file needs to be uploaded or replaced.
Archive A Dog
Archive a dog only when the dog should no longer appear as active for the household. Ask your business how historical context is handled before assuming what archiving changes outside the active portal view.
What Happens Next
Dog profile details can affect visible readiness messages, care notes, and document requirements. Archived dogs leave the active roster; ask your business how historical context is handled.
Troubleshooting
- If the Dogs page is unavailable, refresh and try again; repeated failures may need help from your business.
- If a dog is blocked from booking, review the readiness message and related document or onboarding steps.
- If a dog is missing, confirm whether it was archived or needs to be added.
- If saving fails, review required fields and visible error messages.
- If a photo needs to be changed, open the Documents page because dog photos are managed as document records.
- If you archived a dog by mistake, contact your business for help restoring the profile if self-service restore is not available.
