When To Use This

Use this article when owners or managers need the Hello Sniff plan page (at /settings/subscription) to view the current plan, subscription status, trial state, owner-only plan actions, and billing portal entry point. Do not confuse this with the separate Billing balances page (the "Billing" nav item at /billing), which handles customer charges and invoices.

Before You Start

  • Sign in to the business app as an owner or manager.
  • Ask an owner to handle billing portal, checkout, or plan-selection actions when those controls are not visible to you.
  • Confirm you are working in the right business account before you open billing or subscription actions.
  • Check the current subscription page for plan names, prices, limits, checkout wording, billing portal capabilities, cancellation terms, trial details, and past-due instructions. These can change, so rely on what the page shows rather than on memory.

Hello Sniff Plan Overview

Open Settings and choose Hello Sniff plan. The Hello Sniff plan page (at /settings/subscription) shows the current subscription state for the business account.

Use this page as the visible source for the current plan label, subscription status, trial state, and owner-only billing actions. Prices, limits, renewal timing, cancellation terms, tax treatment, and billing portal capabilities can change, so read the current values on the page rather than relying on memory.

Current Plan And Status

Review the plan label and subscription status shown on the page. The page may show trial, active, past-due, canceled, expired, or similar status language depending on the account.

If the account is in a trial, review the visible trial information before you take a billing action. If the account is past due, canceled, or expired, follow the guidance shown on the page and check the current details there before you take action.

What Owners And Managers Can See

  • Owners and managers can view the Hello Sniff plan page.
  • Owners can see plan-selection actions when the current tier allows selection from the page.
  • Owners can see the billing portal action when the account has a subscription record that supports a portal session.
  • Managers may be able to view plan and status information without seeing owner-only billing actions.
  • The Hello Sniff plan page at /settings/subscription is the canonical subscription page. Older /settings/billing links redirect here by default; a Stripe-connect return (a link carrying a stripe_connect parameter) instead lands on the customer payments page.

Plan Selection And Billing Portal

Use plan-selection controls only when they are visible to you as an owner and after you have checked the current price shown on your subscription page for the change you intend to make.

Use the billing portal action only when it is visible and you are ready to manage subscription billing through the connected billing surface. The exact portal capabilities depend on the active billing configuration, so check what the portal shows rather than relying on memory.

What Happens Next

  • Checkout and billing portal actions should open the expected hosted billing flow or return a visible error.
  • If a hosted billing flow opens, continue only with your business's approved subscription process.
  • If the action returns to the app, review the visible success or error state before you continue.
  • For current plan prices, plan limits, cancellation terms, refund handling, taxes, and failed-payment timelines, see your subscription page.

When Subscription Controls Are Missing

  • If the Hello Sniff plan page is unavailable, confirm you're signed in as an owner or manager.
  • If plan-selection or billing portal controls are missing, confirm you have owner access and that the subscription state supports the action.
  • If owner access should be available but is not, ask an owner or manager to review access on the Access page. See Manage Access and Invites.
  • If the subscription load error appears, refresh once, and if it persists, note the exact error message and contact support with your business account details.
  • If the account is past due, canceled, expired, or trialing, review the state shown on the page and check the current details there before you proceed.
  • If a manager needs to change billing, ask an owner to complete the owner-only action.
