When To Use This

Use this article when a business owner or manager needs to find subscription settings. Older subscription links now open the current Billing & payments page.

Before You Start

  • Sign in to the business app as an owner or manager.
  • Use the Billing & payments page as the main page for subscription billing guidance.
  • Ask an owner to complete billing portal, checkout, or plan-selection actions.
  • Do not quote plan prices, plan limits, cancellation terms, refund terms, or portal capabilities from memory.

Older subscription links should open the Billing & payments page. Use that page to review the current plan, subscription status, trial notice when shown, and any owner-only actions.

There is no separate subscription workspace to manage. Use Manage Subscription Billing for the full subscription billing workflow.

Billing & Payments Page

The Billing & payments page controls what the user can see or do based on access level, subscription state, and connected billing state.

Owners may see plan-selection, hosted billing portal, or payment setup controls when the account state supports them. Managers may be able to view subscription status without seeing owner-only billing actions.

Subscription billing and pricing language should come from the current billing page or business-approved pricing source.

Payment Setup Area

The same page may also show customer payment setup through the business's connected payment account. Treat the visible setup state as the source of truth, and avoid promising payout timing, refund handling, dispute handling, or portal capabilities unless the billing owner has approved that language.

What Happens Next

  • Older subscription links should lead to the Billing & payments page.
  • The Billing & payments page controls what the user can see or do based on role, subscription state, and connected billing state.
  • Billing portal and plan-selection actions should open the expected hosted billing flow or return a visible error.
  • This article does not decide plan prices, plan limits, trial terms, cancellation terms, refunds, credits, taxes, renewal timing, or support availability.
  • If the older subscription link does not open the Billing & payments page, open Settings and choose Billing and payments instead, then escalate the broken link for review.
  • If the user cannot reach the Billing & payments page, confirm they are signed in as an owner or manager.
  • If a manager can view subscription status but cannot make changes, ask an owner to complete owner-only billing actions.
  • If owner-only controls should be available but are missing, ask an owner or admin to review access on the Access page. See Manage Access and Invites.
  • If billing portal or plan-selection behavior differs from the article, use the visible product state and escalate for review before changing subscription guidance.
  • If pricing, refunds, credits, taxes, cancellation, renewal timing, trial terms, or support availability are unclear, use the current billing source or approved business guidance instead of guessing.
