When To Use This
Use this page when staff need to open a dog from the Schedule page and review day-of context: stage, room or field placement, service, attendance status, vaccination context, readiness details, and available actions.
Before You Start
- Open the Schedule page for the target day.
- Find the dog from waiting arrivals, a room or field, checked-out dogs, or the all-dogs directory.
- Confirm the staff member is allowed to change attendance before checking in, checking out, moving, or correcting a dog.
- Follow business policy for readiness, vaccine, attendance, and customer-contact decisions.
Schedule Dog Side Sheet
Select a dog card to open the schedule side sheet. Use search by dog, family, or service if the dog is not visible on the current board.
The side sheet keeps staff in the Schedule page while showing the dog's current operational state. Older saved dog-review links open this same schedule experience when possible.
Dog Stage And Placement
Review the dog stage, room or field, service, attendance status, and visible attention or readiness details before taking action. If the dog is in the wrong area, confirm the destination before saving a move.
Do not treat placement, capacity, or readiness warnings as policy decisions unless the business has approved that interpretation.
Day-Of Actions
The side sheet may show check-in, absent/no-show, checkout, room or field movement, complete-visit, vaccination, or profile links depending on the dog's current state.
Use only the actions visible for the selected dog. Correction actions should follow business-approved attendance policy.
Readiness And Document Context
If readiness, vaccination, or document context is unclear, open the dog profile or Documents page before changing operational status. Keep document and vaccine decisions separate from the mechanics of opening the side sheet.
When Dog Review Actions Are Missing
- If the dog side sheet does not open, confirm the dog is scheduled or present on the selected day.
- If check-in, checkout, or movement controls are missing, confirm the dog is in the correct attendance state.
- If absent, no-show, or complete-visit controls are missing, confirm the correction applies to the current dog state.
- If actions should be available but are still missing, ask an owner or admin to review attendance access on the Access page. See Manage Access and Invites.
- If readiness or vaccination context is unclear, review the dog profile and document review pages before changing operational status.
