When To Use This
Use this page when you are adding the first business profile details during first-time setup. The profile details help Hello Sniff identify the business, set the correct timezone, and store optional contact information before the rest of setup continues.
Before You Start
- Open the Business profile step from the first-time setup wizard.
- Have the approved business name and timezone ready.
- Confirm which address, phone number, and contact email the owner wants saved before adding customer-facing contact details.
Business Profile Form
The Business profile form shows the business name, timezone, address, phone number, and contact email. Business name and timezone are required; the other profile details can be completed when the business is ready to save them.
The form may prefill details from the business setup record. If no contact email is saved yet, the signed-in owner's email may appear as the starting point. Use Show all timezones if the shorter timezone list does not include the right option. If the contact fields are not ready yet, leave them blank instead of guessing.
If the page cannot load existing profile details, it may still let the owner enter the intended values. Confirm the current business details before saving over unknown values.
After Profile Details Are Saved
Saving the form marks the Business profile setup item complete and moves the setup wizard forward. If the profile step is skipped during first-time setup, the same business details can be reviewed later from Business profile settings.
For the after-setup version of this workflow, use Update Business Profile.
When Profile Details Do Not Save
- If the business name is missing, enter the approved business name and try again.
- If the timezone is missing, choose the correct timezone before saving.
- If the page shows a visible error, correct that field first and retry.
- If the question is whether a saved field appears to customers, confirm the customer-facing surface before promising where it will appear.
