When To Use This
Use this page when the owner is creating the first service offerings during setup. Setup services can start from templates or custom rows, then be managed later from the Services page.
Before You Start
- Use this setup step before adding property areas.
- Have at least one service ready.
- Confirm approved service names, service types, starting prices, and customer-facing price behavior before saving.
- Do not promise how service prices, booking modes, or availability appear to customers unless that behavior has been approved.
Template Services
The setup form includes template services for common offerings. Select only the services the business wants to start with, then review names and prices before saving.
Templates are starting points. Adjust or remove services that do not match the business's approved offerings.
Custom Services
Add a custom service when the templates do not cover the offering. Each service needs a name, type, and starting price before it can be saved.
Use unique service names so staff and customers can tell offerings apart.
After Services Are Saved
Saving setup services creates the selected service records and moves setup to Rooms and Fields. After setup, use Manage Services to edit, archive, restore, or review class-style sessions.
When Service Setup Does Not Save
- If no services are selected, choose at least one service.
- If a duplicate-name error appears, make each service name unique.
- If a service name is empty, rename or remove that row.
- Do not describe when prices become customer-visible unless that behavior has been confirmed.
