When To Use This

Use this page when the business needs to change saved profile details after first-time setup. Business profile settings include the business name, timezone, address, phone number, contact email, and business logo controls.

Before You Start

  • Sign in as an owner or manager.
  • Have approved business identity and contact details ready before saving.
  • Business name and timezone are required fields.
  • Confirm which details should appear to customers before announcing any customer-facing change.
  • Prepare an approved logo file if the update includes the business logo.

Business Profile Settings

Business profile settings show the currently saved business name, timezone, address, phone number, and contact email. Review the loaded values before making changes.

If the page shows a load error, do not save over unknown values. Confirm the current profile details first, then return and save the intended update.

The same page includes the Business logo section. Use Update Branding when the work is specifically about changing the logo or portal logo visibility.

After Profile Changes Are Saved

After the profile is saved, Business profile settings show a success state. The setup checklist may also reflect that the profile details have been completed.

Review any customer-facing places that display profile details before telling customers that the update is visible.

When Profile Changes Do Not Save

  • If the save button returns a required-field error, fill business name and timezone.
  • If timezone is hard to find, expand and filter all timezones.
  • If the page shows a setup progress warning, confirm whether the profile itself saved before retrying.
  • If the staff member cannot open Business profile settings, an owner or admin can review their access on the Access page. See Manage Access and Invites.
  • If managers should not make profile changes by business policy, follow the business-approved role rule.
  • If the logo or portal logo visibility is the only issue, use the Business logo section instead of changing profile text fields.
