When To Use This
Use this article when the customer portal asks you to complete setup before booking or using the full portal.
Before You Start
- Sign in to the customer portal.
- Have household, dog, emergency contact, and agreement information ready.
- Review any required documents that may need to be uploaded after onboarding.
- If this is your first setup, document upload may come after your first household packet is created.
Onboarding Page Overview
The Onboarding page helps you complete the first setup packet for your household and dogs. The portal may send you there automatically when setup is required before other portal actions.
Review the onboarding status area for the latest status, dogs in the packet, linked documents, and next-step guidance.
Household And Dog Details
Add or confirm the household display name, household notes, emergency contacts, and at least one dog. Use current information so your business can review the setup accurately.
Intake Questions And Agreements
Answer the required intake questions shown in the portal. Review agreements or acknowledgements when the page presents them.
If the portal asks you to save a draft before accepting an agreement, save first, then complete the agreement step.
Submit Onboarding
Submit onboarding when all required sections are complete. Check the page for confirmation, review notes, or visible blockers.
What Happens Next
After onboarding is submitted, your business can review your household setup. Some booking or document requirements may still need attention before every dog is ready for service.
After a packet is approved, routine updates usually move to the Family, Dogs, Documents, Billing, and Bookings pages.
Troubleshooting
- If a section is marked incomplete, open it and check for missing required fields.
- If you cannot submit, review the visible blockers and finish those items first.
- If a dog or family detail is wrong, update it before submitting.
- If onboarding is submitted but booking is still blocked, open the Documents page and review the dog's readiness messages.
- If a packet is submitted, under review, or approved, it may be locked from editing.
- If changes are requested or the packet is rejected, update the visible items and resubmit.
